Living Eulogies: The "short version"
In my work with 1:1 clients, one of my specialties is guiding people through living eulogies -- that is, creating their own eulogy while still living. I combine my expertise and training as a coach with my passion for storytelling to bring forward a delightful and revealing process with amazing results.
A traditional eulogy is a way to honor the memory of a lost loved one. It is a farewell tribute that expresses how much the deceased meant to others and informs about who they were and what they did in their lifetime. And, it is usually written by someone other than the person being honored.
But what if you were the one who creates this final tribute to yourself? What would it feel like to be the author of your story and to share the things that are most important to you? It would be my honor to support you in creating it.

The "Longer Version"
When you die your life, legacy and stories are determined by others. What would you want them to say about you after you die? What if you are the one who writes about your legacy and not leave it to others to remember? My work is about empowering people to bring their legacy into focus and express it in writing.
Crafting your own eulogy can be a life-changing experience. You'll feel ALIVE in a new way, as you claim your life and your legacy. You’ll receive a new sense of clarity about the remarkable ways you have created meaning in your wonderful life. You might even be inspired to make new choices or take new chances in your life, to expand on your legacy.
Finally, you’ll be giving a priceless gift to your loved ones, who will be so grateful to have the eulogy component completed after you are gone. You will know that you have a say in your legacy and how you will be remembered. In short, you will have a eulogy that you love, which your loved ones will cherish forever.
About My Service
I offer a 1:1 coaching package that includes the following benchmarks, tailored in a way that is appropriate for each client:
1. Gathering the physical touchstones of your life – the physical objects, writings, and mementos that are important.
2. Making a timeline of your life to record the most important events and transformations of your life and identify the key themes in your wonderful life.
3. Using evocative writing prompts to express the most important aspects of your legacy.
4. Receiving guidance and support through writing your first draft of the eulogy.
5. Processing realizations and new awarenesses that are birthed in this process. Does this exploration of your legacy inspire you to try something new or go deeper into one of your passions?
6. Finalizing your eulogy and creating your personal plan around its use.
I incorporate the three pillars of my work (Storytelling, Creative Experiments, and Sensory Engagement -- which you can read more about here) as well as my training as a Master Creativity Coach, licensed Nia Instruction and Certified ARTbundance™ Coach and Practitioner. My clients represent a wide variety of backgrounds and I welcome a conversation with anyone of any age or state of health …. Anyone who is intrigued by this process is ideal to embark on it.
My rates are $150/hour or a 4-session package for $550 (save $50.) Often, this process can be achieved in four sessions, though some individuals may want or need more time to come to a point of completion. I always stay in close communication with my clients so make sure that we are progressing in the timing that is suitable, and that we remain on the same page for our goal. In addition to one-hour sessions by phone or video, I also offer email support between sessions when it is needed.
